Tarock card game is in no way a simple board game, the rules of which could be explained in a matter of minutes, so that even a new player would become a valid playmate after just a few rounds. Not only the players of tarock games who have spent years playing and have taken part in many games are aware that tarock games are rich and challenging enough to bring new experience with every game, and that there are always fresh and new possibilities to discover. This is, above other things, thanks to many varieties of the game that have appeared during its development, such as Strohmandl, Tapr, Calling of the King, Calling of Twenty or Calling of Nineteen. Moreover, the rules of every variety can differ in distinct locations, and so it is often necessary for the players before the game to agree not only upon the game rules, but also upon the paying afterwards. Similarly, before every tournament the rules must be agreed upon, as players from different parts of the country or of the world may be present.

In the conclusion of the book, the rules for tournaments in Břeclav, Vysočina and Wiener Zeitung championship in Vienna of 2015/16 are to be found.
